What are some AMAZING illustrated novels?
I loved Blankets by Craig Thompson and read Local by Brian Wood. I'm looking for something similar to those two. I'm not really into comic books so don't suggest that. Recommendations? Please? Thanks!
I have never heard of Blankets or Local (and apparently don't have the inclination to Google them before I make a recommendation). However, I would suggest you look into The Invention of Hugo Cabret. It is a fantastic story filled with pages and pages of wonderful drawings.
