Where is the best beach spot to propose in Malibu/Santa Monica?
My girlfriend and I are taking a trip to CA soon. We'll be going to San Fran, Napa Valley and around the LA area (specifically Santa Monica and up to Malibu). I'm considering popping the question on our trip! Seeing as I don't know the area too well, I was hoping for some insight for beautiful places along the beaches. We are having dinner at Moonshadows in Malibu that night if this helps. Thanks for your help!

I like the more secluded and natural beaches in Malibu.
El Pescador State Beach, El Matador State Beach and La Piedra State Beach aren't over run with people nor do you get a view of miles of city like Santa Monica. Zuma, Leo Carrillo and Will Rogers beaches are overrun with people.
El Matador is my choice for a romantic beach.
