Salad Serving
Does anyone know the recipe of the salad served at Korean barbeque restaurants? I know it has scallions?
I eat at the restaurants in Rowland Heights, CA. The waitresses serve some type of salad that I really like. I would like to be able to make this at home. Does anyone know the recipe?
The following recipe came from allrecipes.com, and the person submitting it states, "This Salad is usually eaten along with Galbi (Korean BBQ short ribs)". Hope this is it 
KOREAN SALAD WITH SEASAME
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Ready In: 10 Minutes
Yields: 5 servings
"Peppery and tangy, this quick salad is a perfect accompaniment to any Asian-influenced meal."
INGREDIENTS:
1 head red leaf lettuce
4 green onions (white part only)
1/4 cup soy sauce
5 tablespoons water 2 teaspoons white sugar
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
DIRECTIONS:
1. Wash, rinse and dry lettuce leaves; cut into bite-size pieces and place in a salad bowl. Slice the white parts of the green onions lengthwise into long thin strips (if they curl as you slice them, they are perfectly thin); add the sliced onions to the salad bowl.
2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, white sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
3. Directly before serving, pour the dressing over the lettuce and green onions in the salad bowl and toss to coat.
