Stoneware Utensil

How has the "Cooking Craze" affected your local markets and kitchen stores?
In the last decade or so, cooking (and the celebrity Chefs) seems to have become more popular and the Food Network has recorded it's highest ratings since it's inception. So, has this affected your local area grocery stores, (what they carry in produce, meats, baking) kitchen cooking stores, (better quality pots, pans, utensils, stoneware, baking pans) spice availability, recipe cards, retail stores selling cooking video's........you get my drift here. How has the cooking CRAZE affected your local community?
The cooking craze has evolved into a better food shopping experience for consumers. People now care more so regarding the foods they buy and are v-e-r-y interested in ingredients. Notice people of all ages checking labels on most of the grocery products... The independant stores are jumping on the bandwagon and embracing 'quality' products from all over the world and the chain stores are following behind and starting ot jump into the oh-la-la side of the market, even more. In my opinion, it's about time!!!
