Collectibles: What Copeland late Spode China pattern would include these symbols?
A griffin, a purple flower, a oil lamp and a lily. Are these symbols relevant to a specific organization, club, or public office (British, Canadian, or American)?
I found a set of vintage Copeland Spode china with this pattern. I can't find any reference to it or picture of anything that resembles this pattern.
The china is circa 1927. Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible that while the chins was manufactured by Copeland-Spode, it may have been delivered as a blank and decorated by an individual or specific retailer. This was often done by china manufacturers, however, more frequently in the 19th century. Many pieces on the market were manufactured by renown companies for a thriving cottage industry of porcelain painters.
